NAKED ANGELS “PORNOCRACY” LP 3,- €
Intense dramatic and profoundly heavy HC on this first full lenght by a band that put out 7“es on doghouse, newstart and unite+fight!

NARTZ THE „extended play“ 7“ 1,- €

NATION BLUE, THE “blueprint for the modern age” CD 7,- €
Blueprint is the latest offering from The Nation Blue and was recorded with their new bass player after the band migrated to Melbourne. Most of what can be said for their sound without hearing it for yourself has been said in the interview so i'll get to the point- this album rocks. The energy and pressence of The Nation Blue as they are on stage has really been captured on this release and it is fucking awesome, the mix is straight-up Nation Blue and they control all their instruments (including the vocals) better than ever. The stand out tracks are difficult to pick because I found the whole album so complete but of he 10 tracks "P.M" which is also on their debut EP release "Descend" is agains a highlight. Apaart from this the new tracks "Heart is a Phantom Limb" and "Youth Policy" are just two of the tracks that deserve a mention. Every time i listen to The Nation Blue i'm completely infused with the raw energy and artistic talent they purveym so naturally i recommend this CD to every person

NATIONALE BLUE, THE „a different kind of listening“ (Iodine Recordings) CD 6,- € The Nationale Blue may be unlike any other band you have heard before. The progressive indie rock trio takes many different elements to create their blend of music. Right away you can notice the direct influence of Dischord style rock, although TNB brings along electronics (synths, drum machines, sound effects), and classic prog. Rock sounds ala Rush, and YES into the fold. Their songs alternate between pulsating songs with intense vocals (half-spoken and half-sung), to complex instrumental rhythm patterns.

NEVER SURRENDER / FACE THE ENEMY (defiance records) split LP/CD 7,- €/7,- €
Never Surrender is Porcell's (Youth of Today, Shelter, Judge, Project X) brandnew band crossing the sound of Judge and Inside Out: moshing, pissed off and angry hardcore with the guys from American Nightmare on back-up vocals. Face the Enemy is a new oldschool straightedge outfit, with members of Better than a Thousand and Tim from Mouthpiece/ Hands Tied singing.

NEW END ORIGINAL „lukewarm“ (defiance recs) MCD 5,- €
Coming from various states in USA they all meet and make this project a true band. Playing popy rock'n roll emocore, varied and well played, going from hard rock to pop rock. Lyrically I guess it's personal stuff ? This 3 song cd was first released on Jade Tree Rec in Washington DC.More songs would have been better but you already have 15 min to shake your ass and dance and sing.

NINETEEN OF SALEM, THE 7“ 1,5 € Old screamo remiscent of the early 80s; it’s good but not great!

NO CHOICE „dry river fishing“ (newest industry) CD 6,- €
"Though political hardcore may have died with Reagan’s administration, politics and punk rock remain united. Thankfully, though, while in the early 70s tirades against the US government were almost always accompanied by hyper-fast beats and incomprehensible vocals, today the music of social resistance comes in all forms, from the crusty hardcore of Aus Rotten to the slick pop-punk of Anti-flag and Propagandhi. No Choice are something different, though; their politics are as sophisticated as their music, which is an incredible combination of Face to Face, Leatherface, and Bad Religion. If you pick up Dry River Fishing, though, it’ll be for the music, so I’ll talk about that first. Like a lot of English bands, No Choice play pop-punk with teeth. The songs are as meticulously arranged, performed and produced as anything you’ll find on Fat Wreck Chords or Epitaph, but there’s some quality that keeps No Choice from sounding lifeless. No Choice don’t resort to the typical Hot Water Music-isms that most bands use to sound sincere, but their passion still manages to come through the slick backing vocals and clean guitar sound. Fans of Leatherface and Face to Face will love the giant choruses that are sprinkled throughout Dry River Fishing, but like those bands nothing ever feels cheesy or unsophisticated. Each song gets a full page in the lyric booklet, and each track deserves it. For instance, “Scale Climbers Revenge” bemoans the same corporate herd mentality as many punk bands but it does it more eloquently; check out these lyrics: “And labour saving days that saved Labour’s day now seem so far away, you championed the masses yet compassionate fatigue can find its way. It doesn’t take a genius to take the feet from under a blind man. Don’t look to the saints you’ve never seen, just find the man you’ve never been.” I can just imagine reading those lines from the bank building I used to work in; however, even now they hit very close to home. To put it simply, No Choice are the total package, a Bad Religion for those of us who have outgrown that band’s tendency to write the same song over and over and point their thesaurus toward what they believe to be the ignorance and stupidity of everyone who isn’t them. Those of you who believe that melodic punk rock still has vitality, you’re blowing it if you don’t pick this one up."

NOSTROMO „EYESORE“ 10“ (Overcome Recs.) 4,- €
Awesome Metalcore from Switzerland with tons of changes from brooding slow riffs to chaotic, high speed rythms, all with absolutely relentless screaming vocals.

NOTHING IN COMMON „Elevator Suite“ CD 5,- €
Power Drive and intensity with emotional melancholy; 10 times firstrate punkrock in the vein of classics like: DAG NASTY or JAWBREAKER and the new boys like GET UP KIDS &JIMMY EAT WORLD

NOW DENIAL, THE CD 5,- €
The great bock wrote: “ The first full-length after their debut split 7“ with SEEIN RED (at least one other cool band started their vinyl career with a split release with the dutch thrashers before hehe). If you dig up tempo hardcore punk with a message that combines the kick ass energy of TRAGEDY, FROM AHSES RISE and POISON IDEA you will probably like this band as well.“

NUGGETS "Crystalline creations & ..." (Screaming Apple) LP 4,- €
The band started in 1886 (I think) from the ashes of the legendary garagepunkpopband The Basement Brats.Guitarist Nils tempo and drummer Mads Husvik (Bratman) decided to play music that was closer to their hearts- 60`s garage psychedelia and powerpop, so they mixed the two genres and The Nuggets were born. Listen to the 7 new nuggets of gold! Awesome power-pop with a big sixties feel from Norway

NYARI "your nation is dead" 10“ 2,- €
German metal killing machine, great demonic metal hardcore. This is a vinyl version of their MCD on Alveran -with all new devastating artwork!

NAVEL "1994-1997 compilation“ (Snuffy Smile) CD 1,- €
Navel are a solid pop-punk band, a very good example of a specific sound basically found only in Japan. Although they clearly take influences from many UK and American bands there is something distinctively Japanese in the sound. Very poppy rocking Pop-Punk!
