MADEE „songs from Cydonia“ (B-Core) CD 6,- €
Good taste flows from every downtempo beat, every late night atmosphere, every beautiful melody of this album. Sunny Day Real Estate meets The Cure while Mineral links with Radiohead, Echo & The Bunnymen, Cobolt or early U2. The perfect record for that perfect night we always wish to have...

MADELINE FERGUSON/BURY ME STANDING (warmachine recs.) SPLIT CD 5,-€
6 songs by each band. Madeline Ferguson crams melody, anger, a little metal(good 70's metal!), and what some would call 'screamo' into 6 songs worth of emo/hardcore frenzy. Bury Me Standing offer up a slab of very angry, political minded, hardcore with less melody than Madeline Ferguson. This is Bury Me Standing's Last 6 songs ever.

MAD MINORITY „ follow & dance...“ LP (Freecore records) 3,- €

MANNER FARM „ideas...“ LP / CD 5,- € / 5,- €
Hardcore Punk Vegan Anarchists from Vancouver, BC crazy Vancouver emocore with amazingly personal and political lyrics... while the first one was poppier, this one is more hardcore and screamy. They sound a lot like I Spy and First Class Champ; in the vein of Propagandhi meets Bad Religion meeting Minor Threat. Definitely worth picking up if you’re into animal rights, feminism or anarchism.

MANIFESTO JUKEBOX / I EXCUSE (combat rock ind.) split 7“ 2,- €
Two songs from each band, remastered to do the powerful songs some justice... plus cool new artwork and red vinyl!!!

MANIFESTO JUKEBOX „Desire“ (combat rock ind.) LP/ CD 5,- €/ 5,- €
"Now this is what revolutionary rock is all about. Social and politically conscious lyrics sung with conviction, rage, and most importantly, hope. The music is just gold, too. Imagine if you will Mike Kirsch playing a pissed-off HÜSKER DÜ. Think sky high wall of guitar plying transcendent BYRDS and BEATLES riffs at 90 miles per hour, blown speakers and bloody fingers. And there's plenty of suprising changes and razor sharp breakdowns, as well." (BG) MRR#28

MANIFESTO JUKEBOX „remedy“ (BYO) LP / CD 5,- € / 5,- €
A fierce, powerful, and hard-hitting new album from these political Finnish punk chargers. A monstrous blend of driving tuneage, blasted with socially and politically conscious lyrics, and a strong sense of rage, hope and rebellion.

MAN WITHOUT PLAN „FUTILITY METAPHORS" (ACR 006-`03) CD 4,-€
In 1886, man without plan formed in the wilds of port chester, new york, just three determined youths with raw talent and a sick hunger to take on the world. With their fresh an d breaky hc/punk they remind of bands like I spy and newer propagandhi.

MAPLE „this daily charm“ (bcore) CD 4,- €

MARA'AKATE „s/t“ (heroinerecords) CD 5,- €
Mara'akate provides a sampling of disjointed rock anthems. Trading in their My Lai records for Burning Airlines, Blur, and Isis CDs, Mara'akate attempt to destroy all the "screamo" clichés they created in the past for something innovative and new. However, this isn't some lame-ass minimalist, math rock record. This album contains all of the heaviness and power of the band's previous work, but has been reorganized to be fresh in a scene full of imitators.

MARS MOLES “punk religion” LP 5,- €
Great melodic Punk Rock; on side A they cover the lost Bad Religion LP “back into the unknown” in a great punk rock version....as you might not know that Bad Religion LP sucks shit, cuz it’s all indy-rock (came out after the armageddon LP), but the mars moles make up for it!!!! One great record!!!!!

MATABURRO „WAR IN THE WOODS“ (Slave Union Recs.) CD 5,- €
This CD starts out assaulting everything and anything close. Its really really tight but its just fucking everywhere so youre not going to know what the hell is going on. All youll know is that its damn impressive. The music is unrelenting. The rough pounding parts are sometimes broken up by evil sounding castlevania-metal guitars and even sometimes a hint of something pretty. Behind the harsh main vocals can come shrieks and screams that make it nothing less than demonic sounding. Theres singing though sometimes too. Theres tons of stuff. And thats just all in the first song. You get 9 of these on this disk. Plain and simple, the band mixes brutal hardcore with metal and a little bit of straight up rock ...and it happens to turn out very well. Sometimes its like an 70s metal band was kidnapped from the past to play this stuff and sometimes its just straight up crushing hardcore with metal twists. I think if this were done by any other band, I wouldnt like it at all. Mataburro is thuroughly impressive though and its like they wrote the book on how to make this kind of music. Maybe they have?

MEGASTORE “APPEARANCE” CD 2,- €
Italy’s finest noisecore band with members from headspring and crunch.

MI AMORE "crawlin'KingSnake" CD 4,- €
Amazing record from an amazing band! Québec city's MI AMORE hit hard with their first release ever. The band include two members of the almighty FIFTH HOUR HERO but don't be mistaken this is hard hitting hardcore with metal and rock'n roll influences. Mix DARKEST HOUR + A PERFECT MERDER and throw some BLACK SABBATH in... sounds good? Sounds more than good!

MILLOY / THE LEIF ERICSSON (Hermitrecords) split CD 4,- €
MILLOY take elements of Samiam and Leatherface and mix them in with the Police. THE LEIF ERICSSON play more upbeat punk rock somewhere between Snuff and Alkaline Trio.

MILES BETWEEN US 7“ 3,- €
This Ottawa, Ontario group dishes out hardcore the way it should be, fast and furious, with plenty of breakdowns. Five songs with played with a classic Chain Of Strength meets Judge feel. New from Blatherskyte Records.

MISTAKE, THE "Opium" (trece grabaciones) CD 3,- €
Rock in the vein of dismemberment plan, engine down

MISURA „subtle kiss of a sledge“ CD 5,- €
New full length from this up-and-coming hardcore band. Perfectly crafted songs and monstrous breakdowns are enhanced with top notch production. Sure to be one of the most talked about records of 2002, especially among fans of Hatebreed, Machinehead and All Out War.

MODEST PROPOSAL, A „Of Memories and Dreams" CD (Strange Fruit) 6,- €
After two years in the practice room, lots of shows all over Germany and a demo-CD (still under their first name "Stars on 45") strange fruit‘s happy to release the debut CD of this Cologne based band. The record contains nine passionate songs whose main characteristics are the constant change of catchy melodies with melancolic parts that always break into full-on rock, as well as Pascal's voice that seems to be made of too much whiskey, cigarrettes and frustration. Although they can't hide their influences they're far from just copying them. So the "typical" A Modest Proposal song rocks when it should, has great sing-along parts but always changes mood and pace at the right time. Thus this record will never bore you, even after listening to it for whole days!

MONSTER X/HUMAN GREED - split 7“ 3,- €

MOS EISLEY ROCK „high“ 7“ 2,- €

MOST PRECIOUS BLOOD „NOTHING“ LP 7,- €
One time pressing of 900 records. The members of MPB forged their names in the NYC hardcore scene over the last ten years with a band called Indecision, who was revered for their relentless touring schedule and unparalleled work ethic. After Indecision's untimely demise, the founding members formed MPB and word spread like forest fire. More melodic than Indecision, while still keeping their heavy side too.

MOTORMUSCHI “mein leben” 10“ 6,- €
Die senkrechtstarter des D-Punk, fangen da an wo Dackelblut aufhören.

M:PATI - Missanthropen 10“ (flowerviolence) 5,- €
This here is some raw Swedish hardcore punk. The first song ripped my fucking heart out. From heavy dark and beautiful haunting melodies with acoustic guitars to fast hardcore punk screaming at the world of a gray dismal society where humans tread out their lives in repetitious and environmentally degrading lifestyles. Most of the topics covered in the lyrics and reflected in the music are about the above mentioned. Feelings of darkness are conveyed throughout the music that moves from depression to frustration and anger towards our loss of rights, religious fundamentalism and an apathetic TV culture. If bands like Krigshot, Kontrovers or Skitsystem are your thing you you will definitely enjoy this band and what they have to say with their music and the lyrics (oh yeah, sung in Swedish with English translations).

MURPHYS LAW/L.E.S. STITCHES SPLIT 7“ 1,- €

MY FAVORITE CHORD „RED EYED REALITY“ (asscardrecs/horrorbiz recs) CDEP 4,- €
My Favorite Chord are a new pleasant member in the horrorbiz family. The band was formed in 2001 and this is their first release. This guys from münster and dortmund describe their sound as intense melodic powerful music. Punkrock with great melodies and full with emotions in the veins like maybe Samiam and friends.

MY OWN LIES „sounds like an accident“ (hombre lobo) 7“ 2,- €
germany’s great fastcore band with ex-mambers of stack do it again! Their first „own“ 7“!!!

MY OWN LIES / Y (flowerviolence) - split CD 5,- €
2 german fastcore bands... M.O.L:: 14x fastcore galore. this time they were in the same studio as STACK / PRONE. awesome! Y recorded they best songs ever. weird breaks and power to the max.

MY WINTER JANE / SHONBEN (Snuffy Smile) split 7“ 2,- €
shonben (u.k ex-BROCCOLI) does discount-ish pop punk. fuck. am i just saying that cuz there is a girl singer?!?! It's got an early 80s pop punk feel to it with some emo infused. well, that's what discount was, no? my winter jane starts off with a cool drum beat and a thick bass sound. it moves into slow and groobing indie rock.

MALAKHAI / SHANARA - split MCD 1,- €
Malakhai are from michigan/usa and play newschool mosh at its best! this three songs will blow you away in no time. Shanara are a new band from germany. The style stays the same, but Shanara are more metalic than there opponent from the states. Both bands, Malakhai and Shanara, will surely mosh you away!

MAN VS. HUMANITY „In the line of fire“ CD 1,- €
they are perhaps the most brutal band in Germany at the moment (and that is saying a lot!). They mix the most insane elements of metal and thrash with blinding results. They stand above the pack of bands playing this genre because they are harsh and agressive while being interesting and powerful at the same time.

MARHCRANNIES "shout" CD 1,- €
New band of melodic hardcore melodico in the way of the first Face to Face with great quality

MATERIA "hardcore's desecration" MCD 1,- €
This is their first work for Fragment Music and they've put the ribbon really high. Fast metal hardcore with parts that can sound like Deftones, Korn....

MAX REBO KIDS "ciphers" (let it burn recs.) CD 1,- €
Ciphers is probably the most eagerly awaited and anticipated release of 2002 here at Flex Your Headquarters. Germany's Max Rebo Kids are back with their debut full length and we're definitely stoked. Max Rebo Kids are certainly influenced by mid-90s "new school hardcore", a sound perfected by Northwest hardcore bands, Trial and Undertow. Let's not get the wrong impression though - Ciphers is anything but derivative or "retro". While the influence is apparent, Max Rebo Kids up the stakes and take things to their next logical progression - there's a hint of melody present, yet Ciphers remains uncompromisingly hard-hitting, quick-paced, and crunchy.

MILLIGRAM “HELLO MOTHERFUCKER“ CD (Overcome Recs.) 1,- €
Furious and heavy Rock'n'Roll from Boston. This album contains the Tortuga Records MCD, plus 2 extra tracks as well as some Fear, Misfits and Black Flag covers ! This masterpiece is brooding, psychopathic example of Stoner Rock done with conviction and power, unlike the vast amount of dross that tends to clog up the genre today.

MORNING BEFORE “The New Romantics” 6 Song MCD 1,- €
Really tender emo rock with a few upbeat parts but hey - when you wait for it, there’s no screaming. Just beautiful female singing. For friends of Copper, Jejune or even the Cranberries.

MUSIC IS MY GIRLFRIEND - 3 song MCD 1,- €
