LACK "blues moderne : danois explosifs" CD (Scene Police 023) 5,- €
Denmark’s lack debut is ten tracks of intense and innovative hardcore that draws upon such influences as botch, converge and refused, while at the same time not sounding derivative and generic. Beauty and brutality combined - imagine a musical punch in the face and lyrical kick in the stomach drawing a crazy smile on your face just like straight out of the Fight Club... fuck the "emo" or "new school" descriptions, this is a hardcore record with the power of a steamroller, full of anger, energy, inspiration and content, performed with surgical precision. The tape includes the “sisyphus” 6”.

LAFALCE „s/t“ CD 4,- €
this guys play fast and heavy hardcore, and manage to pull off everything with extreme tightness and brutality. the vocals are high pitched, but still have a blood gargling sound to them. frenzied time changes and intense drumming...Acme-influenced darkest emometalcore!!!

LANDSCAPE „positive punk power“ MLP / CD (Scene Police 024) 2,- € / 1,- €
15 minutes of straight 77 HC that is melodic, emotional and nothing like all them shit-bands, that have absolutely nothing to say; could compare to Strike Anywhere/Lifetime and the such!
Political, positive punk-rock power... i couldn't have said it better. Hailing from the ex-capitol Bonn, Martin, Xian (tupamaros), Folkert and Phillip believe in the good old saying: music is a great way to get a political point across...and they do! Comes with a 20 page booklet! backing vocals on this was mainly done by girls, so all the oohhs and aaahhhs won't submit to that tough-guy image!

LAST MILE, THE „ Reflecting the ferocity of our thoughts“ 10“ 5,- €
Raging, dark hardcore for the pissed off, left with a fragment of hope. "Reflecting the ferocity of our thoughts" delivers 7 politcal and emotionally loaded songs in the vain of HHIG, Tragedy and From Ashes Rise. Harsh and melodic, just like most sonic mayhem on Sabotage Records. Comes with an attractive booklet which contains lyric explaination and a critical attempt to discuss the potentiality and limits of punk for serious social change.

LOS OLVIDADOS - "Listen to This" (Alternative Tentacles) CD 5,- €
Seminal Skate-Punk band from San Jose, CA (1870-1873) heavily influenced by the first wave of punk rock (STOOGES, NY DOLLS, DEAD BOYS, RADIO BIRDMAN, SAINTS, etc.,) LOS OLVIDADOS were the Northern California equivalent of T.S.O.L., AGENT ORANGE, THE ADOLESCENTS, and others from Orange County who rose to popularity during the formative years of West Coast punk. Although featured on the MRR comp All Quiet On The Western Front and the early Thrasher magazine Skate-Rock Comps (#1 & #2), the band self-destructed before a full-length album would see the light of day--that is, until it was included in A.T.'s Skate-Punk Reissue Series. Even at 20 years old, this stuff still sounds so vital and youthful that you'll have no choice but to dust off your deck, drain the pool, and skate! * Second in Alternative Tentacles new Skate-Punk Reissues series! * Guitarist/Producer Mike Fox aka "Whölley Smökes" went on to found HEMI (Skaterock #7), and do time in the DWARVES during the Epitaph years („Young and Good Looking“, "Come Clean..“* Bassist Ray Stevens went on to join THE FACTION (Skaterock #1), and ODD MAN OUT (Skaterock #6) before founding the current Skate-Punk band CLAY WHEELS which have been featured on Blue Torch TV.
