HAMMERHEAD "Farbe/color" CD 4,-€
New songs from an old band. Hammerhead have set the standards for anti social we-hate-everyone scum punk in the last couple of years and they’re still not friendlier or nicer now. If you like your punk rock raw and dirty and brutal, this is for you.

HEADSPRING “KA-FWAP” LP 2,- €
Noisecore with some DC-influences from rome/italia

HEROD „execution protocol“ CD 6,- €
Rising from the ashes of Dead To The World (Stillborn Records) comes Buffalo NY’s Herod. 8 songs of heavy & technical metalcore. Lot of eerie interweaving riffs lead by a dual guitar onslaught, plenty of heavy crunch with fast paced songwriting overall. This rotates in between breakneck speeds into slow, dramatic parts in the doom metal vein, while Harsh, deathcore vocals and bleak lyrics round this out. At times, the heaviness of Herod reminds me of bands like Disembodied due to the drop tuned guitar sound.

HERODISHONEST / REBOUND split 7“ (ifsociety/combat rock/6 ply) 2,- €
Thrash it up!! A hot split with the best new finnish hardcorepunks bands. 3 songs each!!!

HERODISHONEST „juggernaut“ CD 5,- €
Los Crudos and Minor Threat showed them the way. 4 chords, 40 seconds, no bullshit. Ordinary looking guys from the back corner taking the stage for 20 minutes. There is sweat on the stage and their brand new album "Juggernaut is a killer!

HIGH BEAMS „Hallucination“ (dead beat recs.) LP 2,- €
Well if you’re like me, you thought that the Mullens were one of the most real straight up late 70’s punk inspired rock n roll bands that were around. They just got it when it came to playing this style of rock n roll. They just had that soul and feel, that many bands try and immitate, but just never really get there. Well when the Mullens went on indefinite hiatus, I was waiting to see what bands these guys would evolve into. I mean you know what they say, ‘you’re only as good as the last band that you were in, and in the Mullens case that would mean a HELL OF A LOT. If you WERE keeping track, 3 of the guys formed the Sunday Drunks (pick up their S/T LP/CD, Great stuff), and Matt Mayo went on to form this band... the High Beams. Well all of you die hard Mullens fans won’t be disappointed. After moving out to Seattle and trying out various bass players, and drummers, Mayo finally clicked with Aaron Erisman (Bass) and Wayne Draves (drums) to complete the final line up of the High Beams. Numerous months of practicing and gigging helped prepare them for the rigorous recording of ‘Hallucination.’11 songs of straight up no frills late 70’s punk. This is the kind of record where the more you listen to it, the more you get out it. Unlike so many bands out there, the High Beams place alot of importance on THE SONG. Not a dud in the bunch here, and each song conveys various emotions including happiness, fear, desperation and dementia that all of us have felt at one point or another. 'Hallucination' is a perfect 11 song medley of swaggerific loud brash punk meets down-home, feel-good rock n roll! Just plop on ‘Living to Die’ for instance. Straight up dark and bleak dead boys type ripper here bridged with that Thunders-style riffage that just totally sticks. Now move onto the more upbeat ‘Hallucination’ and ‘Rocking Horses’. Although more bluesy and almost classic rock in nature, they still keep the head a bobbin’ and the toes a tappin’. All in all a killer debut here from Mayo and the rest of the High Beams. ‘Hallucination’ will trim through the other silly third rate rock n roll bands out there, and leave you with the most stripped down dose of real raw rock n roll action that we all desire. Rock on my brothers!! For fans of: Sunday Drunks, Flash Express, Sons oF Hercules, Riverboat Gamblers, Jewws, Clone Defects, Hunches, Sons of Cyrus, Wonky Monkees, Mullens, Radio Birdman, Dead Boys etc

HIGH CIRCLE “SELL OUT 75-80”CD 2,- €
Apperently the first band that introduced SxE to the italian peninsula. Melodic in the dag nasty vein.

HIGHSCORE “Unsuspecting actors in a bad soap opera” (stereodrive recs.) LP / CD 7,- € / 6,- €
"Unsuspecting actors in a bad soap opera" is a 22 minute and 27 seconds to-the-point definition of no-compromise old school hardcore. This record is just like an unstoppable steam engine and definetly marks the zenith of Highscore’s work up to now. The band forges its way through 16 songs that will simply leave you breathless. Meaningful and heartfelt lyrics, with a strong focus on social and political issues, are screamed out in one insane amok run accompanied by a thrashing, blasting and never stopping instrumental zombie army. Imagine being right in the heart of an avalanche rolling down the Mount Everest then you get a clue what it's like to skateboard with highscore on your walkman. This record is a definite must and consolidates their position as one of the world's leading old school bands.

HIPPIES OF TODAY 10“ 5,- €

HOTWATERMUSIC / RYDELL - (Scene Police 002) split 7“ 2,- €
Found some under my bed! And these are the last ones ever!!!! The 5th press of this 6” which is hardly surprising as it’s a great little slab of vinyl that everyone should own! Literally back by popular demand it seems that all the kids love this - split record between awesome hardcore favourites Hot Water Music and UK emo boys Rydell. It really works as a - split with Hot Water Music delivering their reliable up front rockin’ hardcore and Rydell grooving with their familiar throaty emo. This is a great record in two main ways. Firstly it’s a chance to own an exclusive version of one of Hot Water Music’s best ever songs. Secondly it’s a chance to get to know Rydell, who play addictive, heartfelt, rocking music and have been proving to us for a while that we can expect more from the UK. If not for those reasons it’s just a great record to spin and lift your spirits, all you have to do now is decide which side to play again coz you’ll be playing this one all the time - guaranteed!

HUNTER-GATHERER “low standarts for high fives”(Scene Police 019) CD 1,- €
It’s soooo much better than the - split CD with Rydell some time ago, absolutely heratfelt and emotional music without coming across as sappy or whiny. And they have beards, which is always a big bonus! The best rock money can buy, hands down.

HUNTER-GATHERER / RYDELL split MCD 2,- €
Found some under my bed, get this gem while I still have them!! Goind fast!!!
