DANSE MACABRE „die kritik ist keine leidenschaft des kopfes“ (react with protest) 7“ 1,- €
germany’s danse macabre crank out metallic screamo violence songs which posses nice clean melodic parts in between the metallic screamo “let’s go crazy” sonic blasts.

DARK DAY DUNGEON „let the sin begin“ 7“ 1,- €
The brand spanking new 7“

DAVID DONDERO / CHRIS TERRY (Perpetual Motion Machine) split CDep 5,50 €
Three new classics from Dondero, a long time folk veteran. Conner Oberst (Bright Eyes) said of him,"He is, in my eyes, carrying on the tradition of American folk music in the fashion of greats like Woody Guthrie or Townes Van Zandt, while still creating something modern and unique." Chris Terry, vocalist from Va's Light The Fuse And Run and author of Gullible Fanzine, debuts four new acoustic twists on the singer/songwriter genre, with assistance from other local Richmond musicians. Custom screenprinted art on chipboard, gatefold sleeves.

DAILY TERROR „andere zeiten“ 10“ 6,- €

DAY OF THE DEAD - s/t 7“ 1,- €
There's a new addition to the Goodwill family. DAY OF THE DEAD from Portugal, consisting of members of Time X, Seize The Day, Shoal,... are having their debut release out. And what a debut!!! 6 incredibly furious songs on the verge between oldschool and crust. Raw screaming vocals over a wall of sound with occasional melancholic guitar solo in the back and powerful rhythm section. Top this with the most incredible lyrics you've read in the last few years and you get easily one of the best records to grace our ears in 2002. No hype, no exaggeration! Everyone should listen to this!!!

DEAD FOR A MINUTE 10“ 2,- €
france’s dead for a minute new 9” is six tracks of very aggressive but definitely progressive screamy hardcore spazzness. Reminds the listener of such modern bands as ananda without the metal, shikari and the now denial. Comparisons to older bands abound: Honeywell if Honeywell was tight, a more technical reachout, etc. etc.

DEADLINE “More...” LP 7,- €
Really really good streetpunk with female vocals..this didn’t leave mine nor harti’s recordplayer for a whole week!

DEADWEIGHT / SHORTTIME - split LP 1,- €
Everytime martin goes on tour with a band and our distro i fear the day he gets back, cuz he brings back new trades that i get to listen to and review! Today we have this fine - split LP! Shorttime do the 88 thing really REALLY good; Deadweight are good tough guy HC.....i really enjoed this!

DEAD WRONG / THE BANNER (warmacinerecs.) SPLIT CD 3,- €
Banner:Karl from Earth Crisis once described his band as "hardcore kids playing metal," then later described Path of Resistance as "hardcore kids who play metal, playing hardcore,"well that makes no fucking sense at all and has nothing to do with The Banner. The Banner are undeniably from a "Hardcore" background but with several different distinct influences from including youth crew, crust, speed and death metal. Look its heavy, its fast, its hardcore played by kids who dig horror movies too much and if you don’t like it....Dead Wrong: Dead Wrong is one of the most impressive, powerful, and promising bands in the hardcore scene today. Blending Cleveland style hardcore with old school New York Hardcore, Dead Wrong has found the perfect recipe for hardcore meets metal.

DEEPWATER “S/T” LP 2,- €
In the vein of verbal assault, embrace and turning point with a fusion of the bands: encounter, point of view and policy of three! Very melodic, yet potent and confrontational without beeing particularly violent.

DEFDUMP „david versus corporate society“ tape/CD 2,- € / 4,- €
When i first heard the name of this band i thought to myself...oh god these guys do nu-metal, but boy was i wrong! One of the greatest metal-mosh bands nowadays!!! They rock, mosh and you can see them beeing total metal-proles, but these boys outta luxemburg are awesome!

DEL CIELO / SIN DESIRES MARIE (ed walters) split 7“ 3,- €
One song each from these two unique bands. Colorado's Sin Desires Marie offers "The One She Likes," a haunting, bass-driven approach to what once was pop. The western three-piece invokes an angular, jarring dissonance cultivated from equal parts Third Sex, Submission Hold and Gang of Four. Del Cielo, meanwhile, hails from Washington DC and Richmond, VA, and takes a more upfront indie pop approach, reminiscent of Velocity Girl or Braid. Vocal harmonies and clever writing gel with Warmers-esque drumming and a kinetic bass line for "Richmond Never Forgets." This marks the debut release from Del Cielo, who now have a full-length on the Eyeball label, and a split 7" with Kill the Man Who Questions (Ed Walters). Both bands prove once and for all, the power trio is alive and well.

DEMONICS „Evil angel“ 7“ 3,- €
Sugary power pop songwriting and the hooks you have come to expect from a Coldfront release, and the in your face Rock & Roll attitude you love Sin City for.

DIRTSHAKES „the kicks are alright“ 10“ 6,- €
One of germany’s best pop-punk bands! This includes exmembers of the mighty jet bumpers, and not unlike the bumpers have hit after hit that will keep you humming to yourselfs days after you listened to this!!!

DISCO INFERNO / EXISTENCH split 7“ 1,50 €
DISCO INFERNO from Saarbrücken / Germany comes up with 2 songs of intensive furious emoviolence. Those who've seen D.I. live kickin'ass, are ready to die for it !! EXISTENCH (Canada) w/ 7 songs of furious hardcore - grind. Best and craziest stuff. Even EXISTENCH said, that this is their best material, right now. Total time is 5:44 min.

DISENCHANTED / STRIPED BASSTARDS (traffic violation recs.) 7“ 2,50 €
old long island classic

DISIDENCIA „s/t“ (Thought Crime) 7“ 1,50 €
Disidencia are from Uruguay. This is pure Hardcore, but it has so much more to offer than 80% of all current Youthcrew bands who try to jump on the Old School rehash wagon.Disidencia sound 90% sincere and that´s what makes the difference.Musically it might be the missing link between "the crew" era 6 Seconds and current bands like Strike Anywhere...hell, this is damn catchy for Thought Crime standards actually.

DIVIDE AND CONQUER / ROBOTNICKA (traffic violation) SPLIT LP 5,- €
A total of 23 tracks blasted out from this French tag team. Divide And Conquer plow through their side with the searing thrashy attack of pounding gruff melody and screamed hardcore anthems that you'd expect from these DIY veterans. Caustic political and social commentary from three guys who are out there on the front lines of activism. Robotnicka punks out with the feel of one of the indiana bands like Operation Cliff Clavin, Disarm, or The Sissies. Female vocals blasting out catchy mid-tempo political anthems in their native French.

DIVISION OF LAURA LEE “Pretty electric” 7“ (stereodrive recs.) 2,- €
Another co-release with Burning Heart who will again be releasing the mcd of this little baby. Gothenburg, Sweden's finest are a new signing to B.H. and are set to support The (International) Noise Conspiracy on their upcoming european tour. Just like their label mates The Hives, Division Of Laura Lee have a hard to pin down but still very unique sound that sets them apart from the masses. I hear some rocking later period Union Carbide Productions (especially in the very cool vocals!) plus that explosive rhythmic drive that fuels Fuagzi and At The Drive In - watch out for this band, I think we are going to be hearing a lot more of them in the future!!

DON’T WORRY ABOUT IT / SPITALFIELD (dupage collective) split LP 4,- €
DWAI are very melodic pop-punk at times with an „as friends rust“ touch, while spitalfield do the emo-thang; beautiful layout!!!

DOWN AND AWAY “rising up” 7“ 2,- €
fast streetpunk songs in good old 66 style with Max of Voice of a Generation on the microphone.

DOWN AND AWAY „make it matter“ (rockstarrecords) CD 6,- €
Down And Away is a band from Askersund/Örebro (Sweden) that has been playing High Energy Punkrock since 1887, and the line-up is still the same. All the members have known each other since playground and music has always been a central part of their lifes. Effe and Max-Ali (also known as Marky Madness in Voice Of A Generation) played together in a band called No Comply back in 1883-1886. Monky, Cupless and Max-Ali played together in a band called Assail back in 1886-1887. But now they're all in Down And Away, and they are still going strong. Their music is fast and hard-hitting with catchy melodies.

DOWN AND AWAY „who’s got the deliverance!?“ LP / CD 7,- € / 6,- €
The Rockstar family welcomes Örebro´s punk- rock bastards "DOWN AND AWAY". Their style is comparable to bands like Voice of a Generation or Bombshell Rocks.

DOWN IN FLAMES „s/t“ (625) LP/CD 7,- € / 7,- €
This is their best release to date by far. The songs fly by at 1000 mph, with quick time changes, screamed vocals and an occasional breakdown. They have really come into their own on this full length, showing that they can blaze through an LPs worth of material and leave your ears smoking.

DRAGBODY „FLIP THE KILL SWITCH“ CD (Overcome Recs.) 5,- €
This is definitely one of the best CDs coming from Overcome ! I was a bit sceptic when listening to it for the first time, but by now this band has totally convinced me ! Mixed by the legendary Steve Albini, this disc sounds really intense and offers us good fast metallic music with a great dissonant feeling to it on the right moment. Sometimes this reminds me of Converge, sometimes it reminds me of Slayer. Make your choice, you'll love it !!! A great design accompanies the great music...

DUMBELL “Dimestore romeo” CD 3,-€

DURANGO 95 „take me away“ LP/CD 6,- € / 7,- €
Their brandnew record! Amazing!

DÜSENJÄGER „lethargie & ausverkauf“ (Kindspech) 7“ 2,- €
