CASANOVA ACTION, THE „under the sign of virgo“ 10“ 5,- €
Sexy as hell robocobkrausish-music that kicks ass!6 songs and did i mention how sexy these guys outta berlin are?

CATHARSIS / NEWBORN split CD 5,- €

CATHODE „s/t“ LP/ CD 6,- € / 7,- €
This is one of the greatest bands i’ve ever seen, they totally gave me that catharsis feeling musicwise, but with such independence, it totally blew me away! If you’re into that whole catharsis/hhig-thang, this is a record for you...comes in a very nifty layout/packaging! Great!

CHALET CHALET „s/t“ (dupage collective) MCD 2,- €
Discordant poppy HC...i know this sounds weird, but they’re great...think struggle and screeching weasel and you’ll have these lads! 4 great songs!!!

CHAMBERLAIN „Five Year Diary“ (ignition/hometown caravan) DoLP / DoCD 4,- € / 4,- €
Live recordings, unheard tracks and demo versions of fan favourites. Split Lip meets Chamberlain with this 27 track retrospective release. Spanning the 5 year lifetime of Chamberlain. The double album charts the progression from hardcore through emo to roots rock. If you like Split Lip you'll love this album. If you like Chamberlain you'll love this record. If you like music, it is an album to die for.

CHAMBERLAIN „Exit 263“ (Ignition Recs. /hometown caravan) LP / CD 4,- € / 4,- €
The 10 songs featured on the album tell the story of the journey and shed some light, perhaps, on at least one aspect of the redemption that begins with Chamberlain's ending. just like all previous Chamberlain records, if you revisit the album again and again, the songs are going to simply grow and grow on you.Whether you were a - split Lip fan or discovered Chamberlain more recently,. It is undeniable that almost whatever this band produces is gold. There may not be a “Sleep”, “Drums and Shotguns”, or “Try for Thunder”, but there are enough songs on Exit 263 to sustain interest, and there are songs which truly stick in your head for a long, long time. Exit 263 shouldn’t just be bought to complement your collection; it is another fine example of how songs make an album, not the band name.

CHILDREN OF FALL "Riding a broken vehicle" (Genet)CD 3,- €
Their first cd! 3 ex-SERENE kids; still emo ala SERENE/ early GRADE/ KEEPSAKE/ ... pretty good; their new record on scenepolice blows this one away tho!

CHILDREN OF FALL „ignition for broken hearts“CD (Scene Police 027) 3,- €
featuring ex members of serene, and hailing from Sweden, children of fall’s new full length will definitely raise eyebrows. “ignition for poor hearts” is an excellent mixture of metallic hardcore and mid 80’s sing-songy emo (before emo became indie rock). Sounds sorta like if “separate the magnets” era grade listened to a lot of early cave-in. Recommended.

CHILDREN OF FALL / NIKAD split MCD 2,- €

CHINA WHITE, THE „The gun of the enemy“ (eulogy recs.) CD 2,- €
Emo/Indie Rock for fans of Radiohead and REM. Smooth flowing music with emotional vocals, violins, and all sorts of other treats. Featuring ex members of New Day Rising (you can't tell though).

CHISPA “obstinator” 7“ 1,- €
supposed to be a - split release with Bloodlink records, these four songs were recorded a year ago, before
their US tour with Enfold. rising from the ashes of Loxiran, Chispa go for more of a chaotic and crazy
approach, not unlike certain bands from the San Diego area. they kept up the spirit of the northcore.

CHOREA / ASMODINAS LEICHENHAUS (flowerviolence) split 7“ 1,- €
This record is the product of a friendship by two bands, who like the same kind of music - crust, grind with screamed vocals. I think you know both bands from their 7“es, but this split is much better in sound and the songs have way more rawness than the older stuff. It comes with a handmade cover and 2 booklets and sticker.

CIRCLE OF DEAD CHILDREN „exotic sense decay“ (robotic empire) pic 7“ 3,- €
Shit, this CIRCLE OF DEAD CHILDREN 7“ is one fucking sick and twisted record. Don't kid yourself because this is straight on grinding metal. I first got turned onto these guys with their full-length CD that came out over a year ago. What you get here is wide-eyed, hatchet wielding grind that attempts to crack your ribs with some fast and furious blast beats and then they go for the punishing chokehold by slowing things down to almost a stall creating a steamroller of madness. The vocalist has some of the most tonsil shredding growls I have heard in some time. The record itself is a fancy full color picture disc that keeps the evil meter pegged with rudimentary drawings of ghosts and other ghastly things. It's a keeper in my book.

COACH „Package Deal“ (Doghouse) 10“ 3,- €
Taking the best aspects of indie rock and emo punk, Germany's up-and-coming COACH rip out a debut domestic game plan. Five tracks of neo-70s keyboards and driving, passionate rock. Previous U.S. tour with Metroschifter garnered the band heaps of praise and fans

COBOLT „passoa“ (B-Core) CD 2,- €
Fourth reference by this swedish band, after their first two full-lenghts on the swedish label Ampersand and their out of press EP on BCore "A Few Hours Captured". Cobolt's new album goes one step ahead in their personal view of what some might call slowcore, that is, quiet indie rock influenced by bands like Codeine, Seam, Low or Red House painters. Slower than ever, more melancholic and atmospheric, their songs create personal atmospheres that capture the listener from the first note.

COLT „marek“ LP (SCP 31) 4,- €
I got these recordings in december and (I won’t be pulling your leg here or try to sell you a record) i’ve been listening to it every day since then! Seriously..not one day has gone by in the last 5 months that i have not listened to this great record! If you like good guitar-rock in the vein of dinosaur jr with a hint of pegboy and big drill car thrown in, this is for you...this record has some of the most melodramatic songs on it that i ever heard...the melodies will make you cry, yet they’ll pick you up and you’ll want to jump around! 2 singers, great guitarwork, excellent bass-solo + drums that totally kick it! This is gonna be big...get your limited copes today! 300 pressed in clear yellow, 300 in black!

COLUMBIAN NECKTIES „why change your moves?“ (sounds of subterrania) LP/CD 5,- € / 5,- €
What can I write over the second album from this dansih guys. The people love the first and her goes the bandback to the roots. More power, more punk, defently one of the best european R'n'R Bands in this time. Time Warren write: "Hey –It’s fucking year 2000 and I could give 2 fucks about ”raw crude” Destroy-Oh-Boy-style imitators – BUT, GOD DAMN does this record smokeass! Ex-Shake Appeal members blastin out 6 extremely hot & raw & loud punkers…If you dug the Dirtys alb you are gonna dig this!" and I think, thats enough!

COMBATWOUNDEDVETERAN 'Duck Down For The Torso' (No Idea) MCD 5,- €
“It’s as much feel - the tones of the instruments - as much as how they’re played, flayed, and serrated. Only those with brave ears need apply. The first three songs plong out like an intergalactic meatloaf; they grind up big, thick slabs of sound, slather and stew it in a blood red sauce, choke it with pepper and sonic voodoo spices, and have it clog and chog in their colons for about a month. The music’s all chunky, splattering, heavy, and intentionally irritating. It’s hard artcore that ice skates through sludge - somehow remaining crisp in the morass. Fans of Kylesa, Tragedy, Men’s Recovery Project, the movie Brazil, or a good old-fashioned ear-whooping won’t be disappointed. The fourth song, “Folded Space: Mapping Unexploded Ordinance” is a monologue by a robotic voice backed by dying seagull synthesizers - that I suspect is chock full of subliminal messages - about a mega battle (and eventual triumph) against giant squids, destructive floods, dying so many times that the narrator finds it tedious, and the power of a smile at the end of the day...” Todd @ Razorcake Zine (Aug./Sept. ‘02)

CONGRESS „Stake“ (Good Life) LP 3,- €
Europe's longest standing Hardcore band has done it again. A CONGRESS record has never disappointed anyone, and this one is no different. If nothing else, CONGRESS are taking more influences from all corners, New York Hard Core, Gothic and Heavy Metal to name a few. Incredible technical musicianship, amazing songwriting and the usual personal/political lyrics make for another keeper. This is the kind of record you'll listen to 90 times and you'll still hear and discover new things everytime you do. 'Stake Through The Heart' also marks the last of the line up problems for CONGRESS.

CONTRA "boys club anthems" LP / CD (Traffic Violation) 4,- € / 4,- €
fucked up and furious. this is screamed, crusted-out hardcore punk. fourteen unrelenting songs attacking everything from cops, corporations, and consumerism, to the punk scene itself. this isn’t bullshit textbook political hardcore. these songs are teeming with anger and aggression, and that comes from a genuine passion about changing the way this world works. these guys carry their ideas past this band and into local and international activism. i’m really fucking proud of this record, and i think both the long island punk and activist scenes would agree with me. probably the coolest traffic violation release yet.

CONTRA / SPLURGE split CD (Traffic Violation) 3,- €
6x Contra, 5x Splurge Contra’s sound is kinda like a more hardcore AUS ROTTEN mixed with a slowed down CAPITALIST CASUALTIES mixed with the overall spirit of STRUGGLE. Crusty, pissed off HC-punk, political as hell with real emotion about it. Splurge lays down their best stuff yet. Intense, dynamic punk, with tons of gruff and melody. Fucking mint.

CONTRA / J CHURCH split 7“ (traffic violation recs.) 1,- €

CONTROL, THE „sidearm“ 7“ 1,- €
These s tracks are a bit more melodic than the record Plus/Minus released, but they still play fast, in-your-face style old school punk/hardcore. Not exactly "youth crew" since they don't sound like another rip-off Youth of Today band. They just sound like what hardcore did sound like in 2001. Pick it up!!

CONVERGE / HELLCHILD split LP 6,- €

CRASH „young boy i can help...“ 10“ 4,- €
New tracks from these ex JR EWING guys who are now treading paths anew and although the path is already a little worn, this is still really fucking good. Poppy and rocking punk that sounds like it could have been bonus tracks that were missed off STARMARKET's superb "Calendar" album - it's in that same indierock vein that's fuelled by great big slices of infectious melodic hooks that Scandinavian bands seem to be perfecting and honing to a fine art. There's not really so much else to say except that on a sunny day like this, this sounds fucking great pounding from the speakers.

CRAVING „fans will shit their pants“ (Scene Police 028) DoLP / CD 8,-€ / 5,-€
The saga of CRAVING begins in cold Stuttgard rain and ends up in your entrails. Vocalist Gaston Cravinkel, Guitarist Alex Cravinkel, Drummer Ralf Cravinkel and bassist Haluk Cravinkel kept on moving thruout Germany and seem to finally have found a home in Bonn, Koeln as well as Stuttgart & Tuebingen. After releasing two split 6”s, two 6”’s (one of which was “comparable traces” on scenepolice-026) one 9”, two CD’s (of which one was an LP as well) and another LP (their debut) and 9 years of existance they have come to know eachother pretty well. “fans will shit their pants” is solid evidence that CRAVING has evolved into one of the most visceral, compelling and necessary bands in Europe. This album is the culmination of hard times and the love of labour. It is more textured, precise, and surreal than their previous ventures, but combined all the pain, all the sex, and all the power of it's predecessors to take the band even further into uncharted musical territory. Other bands will give you an amazing liveset. Then there's CRAVING. They're not meant to suck... they're meant to wake you from your Pommes Ring/Emo-bollocks coma, take you by the hand and lead you into anaphylactic Son of Sam shock. Frontman Gaston Cravinkel will scare you and you will like it!! He grunts, squeels, screams and stomps around the stage like the mad man that he is, delivering rather frightening yet very emotive lyrics. He comes off like a (to borrow a line from Dazed and Confused) "male dominate monkey motherfucker" -- and my, does he ever do it well. CRAVING’s new album is a lot more laid back than their previous releases yet it will rock the hell out of you! Fans like to call them the german answer to Jesus Lizard and with this new DoLP/CD they will definetly shit their pants!!!

CRAVING „Comparable! Traces“ (Scene Police 022) 7“ 2,- €
Chicago Noise Rock outta Stuttgardt (& BN) Germany!!! After 7 years of existance, one 7“, one 10“, 2 LP's, 2 cd'S they finally did the only thing good for them, join the scenepolice family! some say the german answer to shellac & jesus lizard!! Even for fans of math rock or Emo ala BooksLie. Groovy noise rock that is heavy on the bass side, comparable to the likes of Jesus Lizard, Big Black or Shellac but with a style of their own.

CRAVING „Poor Ray e.p.“ 7“ 2,- €
7“ with 5 mindblasting noise-punk-rock killer-songs, that will definitely smash the Party Diktator-ship. Chicago-styled noise-punk meets EMO!!!

CRAVING / WOODHEAD split 6” 2,- €

CRESTFALLEN „s/t“ (robotic Empire) CDEP 6,50 €
Trading in technicality for good ol’ fashioned fist-raising tunes, Virginia’s Crestfallen return with a mighty new EP of high-energy thrash-influenced metallic punk rock. This is fast & heavy music at it’s finest, combining circle-pit-inducing thrashy hardcore with plenty of punk attitude to generate a compelling form of underground music that’s aimed at erasing those unnecessary lines between a live band and the crowd. With epic melodic elements and an unmistakable grind influence! (description by ROBOTIC EMPIRE)

CRETIN 66 “demolition safari” (Sounds of Subterrania) LP 2,- €
The finest three-chord-power-garage-punk-rock and roll. These boys sure do shake out a couple of hits from under their sleeves, and we mean direct hits. Ramones meets Antiseen meets Devil Dogs meets Motorhead meets meat, beer, ugged men, drugs, beer, and anything else that's fun. That is cool!

CREUTZFELDT (Scene Police 008) 7“ 2,- €
Raging and brutal hardcore in the vein of bands like Phobia or Resist, packed in a slick full colour fold out cover and guaranteed to leave scars on the souls of innocent teens...

CRISPUS ATTUCKS / DE NADA - split 7“ 1,- €
two DC hardcore bands team up for one manic piece of vinyl. Crispus Attucks tear through four tracks of good thrash/youth krew politically aware hardcore, while on the flipside de nada provide a more screamy hardcore feel to their five tracks of thrash.
