SIX REASONS TO KILL provide a four-song masterpiece of brutality and heaviness. Bulldozer-riffings and a wall of brutality and heaviness show the bands consequent process in songwriting and performing as a band. Their follow up to "kiss the demon" supprises with even more energy, power and groove. Fans of bolt thrower should take note.

ANGSTZUSTAND „ohne dich sind wir allein“ LP 4,- €
What should I say? Northern Germany is back on track with Angstzustand, a musically bastard of energetic Hardcore and metallic guitar riffs. This album enthused me from the first song whereat this is the worst one of the whole album because it's more chaotic than the rest! Hopelessly and passionate screaming and spoken words are combined with part-wise black metallic guitar riffs and calm and also heavy breakdowns. The most important thing is that Angstzustand can transmit their aggression and passion with their instruments straight into everyones mind and it will make you dance. The four guys are free from any musically borders and also add some old school hardcore and rocking rhythms to their sound. But most of the time the music contains straight forward played killer-riffs, anywhere between hardcore and metal, always with the necessary aggression! Just to give you a point of orientation, think of Acme or Uranus! Not only the huskily screams make the vocals something special, the German lyrics handle with societal problems, war, human rights and the bigotry and arrogance of the masses. The booklet contains all lyrics, an explanation to every song and a collection of addresses of human, animal rights and political groups and organisations. Very sympathetic band with the heart at the right place! Definitely worth to check it out!

After two years in the making this record is finally out and what a record it is: APRIL provides the best three songs they have ever recorded. Much more structured, sophisticated and less speed then the tracks on April’s debut 7“. Screamed and Bawled vocals are accompanied by wonderful guitar riffs and on the other hand there also some very fast speed metal-parts! CREUTZFELDT crank out four songs of total destruction, first song is really fast with lots of death metal influences! The other songs are fast too but with much more slower very heavy parts with always screamed vocals!

the atlantic monthly are from vienna and have put down a very soothing indie track for this record. "trains about to leave" has all the reflection and moody introspection of any other good song of this genre. all their pieces flow together to create a very listenable song. dina contributes two more indie songs to this release, though their are are more poppy and sound like texas is the reason at times. dina's lyrics seem a little more cryptic, even though the main personal themes are plain. these two bands complement one another in as much as they differentiate styles within the genre they fall into.

Atrox from Mainz should already be known through their great 12“ (RSR 002) Those five new songs are more agressive, more intensive, even more rough.
